I wrote this song many years ago for my youngest son Marc Ian. He was struggling to find himself in an unaccepting world. Each day he would try something new in hopes of gaining recognition and love. With tender care and the grace of God he grew into an extraordinary young man with many friends, an infectious smile and a zeal for life. Sometime in the spring of April 2018 I resurrected this song and submitted it to my studio for mix and mastering. Marc passed away on May 13th, 2018. I received the song back from Chris, my sound engineer on May 14th. Make Them Love You is dedicated to my son, Marc Ian and all those who struggle to be loved.
